Come to our Open Day 2026!
Following the success of our Open Day in 2025, we're holding another event this year!
On Saturday 27 June, Albion Timber will be hosting a series of talks with people within Wood Culture.
The event starts at 1pm with speakers on stage from 2pm, so there’ll be plenty of time to have a browse of the shop and find a seat. We expect to finish around 6pm, with a break in the middle for refreshments. We’re holding this event in our timber shed, which we hope will provide the perfect backdrop.
We’ll make sure the timber shop is bursting with interesting timber!
The yard will be open for people to look around and, you will be able to browse our shop full of interesting British hardwoods.
There will be four talks, all from different aspects of Wood Culture. Talks will be approximately 45 minutes long with time for questions.
We'll hear from David Smyth, founder of Albion Timber; from John Orchard, Chief Executive of Woodland Heritage. Then Luke Barley, author of the excellent book “Ancient: Reviving the Woods That Made Britain”, will be talking all things trees. Check out his book here: Ancient
And finally we’ve a mystery speaker…stay tuned for more information!

Come along to for a day dedicated to celebrating timber!
