About the Open Morning
Come and visit our historic workshop in Aberfeldy.
We have a small team of dedicated and highly skilled craftsmen. Our traditional workshop has been used continuously for woodwork since 1886.
Our specialist technique of steam-bending combined with traditional cabinet making techniques allows us to create exceptional curvaceous furniture for homes, gardens and public places.
Visitors will be able to come into the workshop to look around and see work in progress.
Please note that this is an historic building with uneven floors, steep stairs and dust. The workshop is small and has two floors. If the workshop is busy, visitors may be asked to wait or come back, to make sure we can maintain safety in the workshop and allow everyone space to move around.
About the Guided Woodland Walk and Workshop Tour
Old Castle Wood is a 50-acre mature mixed broadleaf woodland, with oak trees previously coppiced for tannin during 18th and 19th centuries. Angus Ross now sources oak for his furniture from this woodland.

Before and after the walk, participants can come to visit our historic workshop in Aberfeldy and see work in progress.
