Goodwood Forestry Open Day

Join us for a unique Open Woodland Workshop at the Goodwood Estate, set in the heart of our working Forestry Yard, behind the Goodwood Farm Shop. 

This immersive day will offer a behind-the-scenes look at sustainable woodland management, led by Goodwood’s expert Forestry team. Throughout the event, you can enjoy guided walks, engaging talks, and hands-on demonstrations showcasing traditional and modern forestry techniques.

Adding to the experience, Built By Artizans, a renowned local craftsmanship company with an onsite sawmill, will be demonstrating their skilled approach to working with wood, bringing age-old techniques to life.

Running from 10am to 3:30pm, the day will be filled with scheduled talks, interactive demos, and woodland walks for all to enjoy. Break-out areas will be available for those who wish to pause and soak in the surroundings or enjoy lunch. The Goodwood Farm Shop will also be open, offering fresh organic produce and snacks to take home. Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided to keep you refreshed throughout the day.
