Thinking about a career in Design with wood?

Mowat & Company are opening our design studio on Saturday 14^th June for anyone who is considering a career in architecture, interiors or furniture design. 

The day is designed for anyone doing or choosing GCSE’s, A levels or University courses. 

Participants will get the opportunity to learn about how different timbers are used in many ways. Architects, interior designers and assistants who are at various stages of their careers will be available to talk to about the different ways they have approached their careers, both at universities and art colleges.

There will be the opportunity for hands-on experience of making models and maquettes in timber.

AND We will end the day with wood-fired pizza!

The bad news is that anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. So you may need to persuade an adult to come with you and join in. We will keep them entertained for you!
