North Eggardon Farm Woodland Walk

A woodland walk and tour

Come to visit a woodland being productively managed for timber.

Earnscombe Wood was planted at 3m WGS grant in 1990, oak beech walnut. EWGS 2006 sweet chestnut. 

It has been high pruned and is a promising timber crop. Oak bark peeled in 2025, and some timber already milled. Some minor restructuring.

No toilet facilities on site
Dogs on leads OK
Non smoking site
Rough terrain - sturdy shoes required. 

This site is not accessible to wheelchairs.
