Our animal carer for the day package, is perfect for anyone who would like an insight into how we care for the animals here at Woodlands. The experience includes exciting one to one interaction with a wide range of species, a chance to feel like part of the team here at Woodlands, and full support throughout the morning.

Shadowing one of our experienced staff you will learn new skills and have a greater understanding of animal care and will get involved in every part of the animal carers day, from preparing food to feeding and cleaning out. Plus whatever surprises may come along!

Our animal carer days are suitable for anyone ranging from young children to adults! Running from 9:30am-12:30pm, a carer experience costs £50 per person and all proceeds will go directly towards the care of the animals here at Woodlands Animal Sanctuary.
