Worcestershire VCSE Learning Event - Introduction to Co-production
Wed 13 Mar 2024 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM GMT
Online, MS Teams
Description
This session will introduce principles for co-production approaches, its opportunities and barriers. You will have an opportunity to reflect on what you currently do and what your organisation can do in the future to ensure further opportunities for true co-production.
Co-production brings people with lived experience together with people who design and deliver services, to work collectively to review, design and improve things - in a nutshell : ‘people working together to make things better.’
This webinar is for you if you're curious about ways of involving more voices in your service design. You might be in a role that leads and develop initiatives, a decision maker or someone who may be involved directly in co-production.
The session will include:
• Basics of personalisation
• Definitions
• Principles
• Six key phases
• Barriers
• Review of practice
• Embedding co-production
• Co-production in Action - Case Studies
This webinar will be led by Vicky Thomson from Every One, a Lincolnshire based charity that delivers person-centred services and projects for carers and people that are cared for. This event is hosted by Worcestershire VCSE Alliance. It is free to all Worcestershire VCSE organisations and VCSE partners.
