Join us for our next Community Wellbeing Roles Peer Support Meeting

Supporting others can be incredibly rewarding, but we know it can also be challenging at times. That's why we're continuing our Peer Support Lunchtime Sessions, offering a friendly and informal space for people working in frontline community wellbeing roles to connect with colleagues, share experiences and support one another.

Whether you've had a particularly busy period, are facing challenges in your role, or simply want to hear how others are doing, these sessions provide an opportunity to talk openly with peers who understand the realities of frontline work.

There is no agenda and no pressure to contribute. You are welcome to join the conversation, listen in, or simply take a break with colleagues who share similar experiences. Feel free to bring your lunch along and make it part of your lunchtime routine.

Please note that the session is informal and will not be recorded, helping to create a supportive and confidential environment for everyone attending.

We hope you'll join us. Together, we can create a supportive network that helps us all look after our own wellbeing while continuing to support others in our communities.

In spring 2023, Worcestershire VCSE Alliance founded a support network for individuals working in Community Wellbeing Roles (including but not limited to Community Builders, Community Connectors, Community Development Officers, Community Health Connectors, Community Mental Health Link Workers, Disability Employment Advisors, Health and Wellbeing Coaches, Neighbourhood Social Prescribers, Social Prescribers, Social Prescribing Link Workers.)

The purpose of the Community Wellbeing Roles Network is to provide a space for you to continuously connect, support, and learn with peers in similar roles.

At each quarterly network meeting, we hear from a guest speaker, connect with peers from across the county, and contribute to the development of CWR practices. You can watch back previous meetings here: Community Wellbeing Roles Network

In addition to the quarterly network, we host monthly check-ins, which are informal online meetings designed to support each other to problem-solve, manage challenges and share recent learning experiences. If you want to receive the invites to the monthly peer support network contact Suzy James suzy@communitypower.org.uk
