Live performance has always been a key part of Ward Thomas’s enduring appeal and they're heading to Nantwich to play for us in the Civic Hall on Friday 16th October. 

Frequently cited as “Britain’s first country stars”, Ward Thomas have shattered expectations of what British country music can be. Their achievements, which include landmark chart success, critical acclaim, and recognition from the international country music community, mark them as pioneers. Today, they remain leading ambassadors for the genre, proving that country-pop— sung with English accents and grounded in British experiences —can resonate both at home and abroad.

With sales exceeding 100,000 albums in the UK alone and a profile that has continued to rise, Ward Thomas received further recognition for their contribution to bringing country music into the British mainstream. In 2019, they were honored with the Country Music Association’s prestigious Jeff Walker Global Achievement Award.

Their album, Music in the Madness released in 2023 featured high-profile collaborations with artists like James Blunt and Jack Savoretti, further cementing their reputation for reinvention and versatility.
