News just in - Overscan will be painting the walls with dancing dragons and the penguin pirouette

El Prevost and B’Licious will be playing live. If you were lucky enough to catch their set at Into the Burrow you’ll know what a treat everyone at this WU is in for.

The last WU will be be a tough act to follow but it looks like this one will be even better.

It’s the opening party for World Unknown Summer Season 2023 and the venue is an absolute cracker, a stone’s throw from the Thames in Greenwich in an historic 250 year old building that doesn’t usually get used for things like this.

Indoors is a cool and airy vaulted stone cellar with one large room for dancing and some smaller ones for chilling, the perfect spot for when the summer heat can make many other indoor spaces a bit sticky. Outdoors is pretty special too.

DJs on the terrace until 930pm and then it stays open for drinks and ciggies and all that stuff until we finish at 5am.

A cracking venue such as we are using for this edition of world unknown is all well and good but it requires an equally exemplary crew of music makers to light the fuse and give you the night out you truly deserve.

AMY’S GANG kick things off outside from 7pm until sunset, your early arrival will be handsomely rewarded


then we move indoors with the wonderful OLI KEENS from little gay brother setting the scene


around the witching hour the mighty F.A.O. pick up the baton, set their phasers to stun and take us into the vortex


at exactly the right time REMI MAZET will take over for a one hour live set and then hand back to F.A.O. for them to plunge you even further into a world unknown


and then, as has always been the wu wei, ANDY BLAKE will close the night out as the sun comes up and you get ready to greet the new day in nearby greenwich park wondering why all parties can’t be like this
