More about INSIDE: Caregiving (wosu.org/inside)
As Baby Boomers reach an age requiring more health care and specialized housing arrangements, caring for one’s family and friends will soon become an increasingly daunting responsibility for many.
While the number of people over the age of 80-years-old is projected to increase by nearly 80% by 2030, the number of caregivers is estimated to increase by only 1%.
Join WOSU Public Media for INSIDE: Caregiving, a multi-series/cross-platform project uncovering the journey of caregiving, from health disparities and inequities to exploring if our healthcare system is prepared to support the future aging population.
Listen weekly on 89.7, NPR News, subscribe to the Untangled Podcast and join us on TV and streaming platforms in addition to this town hall.
