About Zanni

Zanni Louise has written over fifty internationally published books for kids and teens. Her books have been acclaimed by several awards, including CBCA, Educational Publishing Award, Panda Award and K.O.A.L.A. Awards. Her middle grade, Queenie in Seven Moves, is on the NSW curriculum. Born and raised in rural Australia, Zanni now lives and writes full-time in an artists' warehouse in Utrecht, The Netherlands with two teen girls and a very tall Dutchman. She loves visiting schools, running retreats for grown-ups, and running in forests.

Instructions for arrival

Arrive at Lange Nieuwstraat 20, 3512 PH Utrecht

Enter the building via the dark blue door, beneath the red roses. You will enter a courtyard. Walk through, and to your right will be a green door, with a small sunflower sign reading "Anneke Bijkerk". Enter another courtyard here and you will see the door to the classroom will be open.

Tea, coffee and snacks are provided. If you'd like to bring something extra, feel free.
