Western Slope Ecological Restoration Services presents a FREE Community Event on CREATING DROUGHT-TOLERANT MICROHABITATS.

• Learn what a microhabitat is and how it supports habitat connectivity so you can see more birds, butterflies, native bees, and moths visit your yard
• Discover the 4 essential elements of a microhabitat to create a space that meets all your pollinators’ needs
• Design your own flourishing, colorful “water-wise” microhabitat
• Real-time feedback from microhabitat experts as you design
• Gain lifelong skills you can apply to your landscape right away

This is a design workshop.

1. Bring paper and something to draw or color with.
2. Bring photos or sketches of your yard or garden area that you'd like to turn into a microhabitat
3. Bring an open mind as we brainstorm and collaborate

You'll walk away with a design plan for your own microhabitat, that has been reviewed by one of our microhabitat experts!
