Tez Ilyas: Road to Success – Talk with Q&A

Join comedian, writer, actor and Sunday Times bestselling author Tez Ilyas for an afternoon of conversation, questions and inspiration at Wycombe Arts Centre.

From starting out in stand-up to becoming one of the most recognised names in British comedy, Tez has built a career across television, radio, writing and live performance. You might know him from Live at the Apollo, The Last Leg, Mock the Week, Man Like Mobeen or his own Channel 4 series The Tez O’Clock Show.

But how do you actually get from having an idea or ambition to making it happen?

Road to Success is a chance for young people in our community to hear Tez talk openly about his own journey, how he got started, the challenges he’s faced and the things he’s learned along the way.

There’ll be plenty of time to ask your own questions too. Whether you’re interested in comedy, performing, writing, TV, the creative industries or you’re simply figuring out what you want to do next, come along and hear first-hand from someone who has turned his ambitions into a successful creative career.

After the Q&A, there’ll also be a chance to meet Tez.

Ticket required – limited to 50 young people.

A parent or carer can book on behalf of a young person. One parent or carer is also welcome to accompany each ticket holder at no additional cost and does not need a separate ticket. Just let us know when booking if someone will be accompanying you.
