The Snowman & Chiltern Hills Brass

Step into the magic of The Snowman with a special live screening here at Wycombe Arts Centre.

This much-loved classic will be shown on the big screen while the Chiltern Hills Brass Band perform the iconic score live, bringing the story to life in a completely new way.

Perfect for families, film-lovers, and anyone looking for a gentle festive outing, this is a wordless, beautifully animated film told entirely through music — with the unforgettable Walking in the Air at its heart.

Originally published in 1978 and adapted into the famous 1982 animated film, The Snowman has become a treasured part of the winter season for generations. This special event lets you experience it the way it was always meant to be felt: full of warmth, wonder, and live music filling the room.
