About the Accessible Disco
The organiser recognised a need for a safe place in the local area for individuals with a learning disability and/or Autism to have fun and socialise without judgement.
The event promotes the opportunity for individuals to socialise, dance and have a drink of their preference in an adapted environment which is mindful of some of the sensory needs of the individuals attending.
Photographs will be taken during the event by the appointed photographer only. Upon entry, we’ll ask people to complete a photo/video consent form to agree/disagree to the Arts Centre using photographs from the evening for advertisement purposes on social media.
On the night, vulnerable individuals that require support will need to bring a parent/guardian/carer with them when attending the event. One parent/guardian/carer will gain free entry per person attending.
DJ RAGGA T will be hosting the music and fun chat on the microphone! Song requests can be made to the DJ throughout the night, who will attempt to play as many requests as possible.
Drinks and snacks will be available in the café bar, alcohol will be served to over 18’s only with proof of age. Parents/carers/guardians are responsible for informing the bar staff if individuals need to refrain from consuming alcohol.
