Wylam Winter Tales: Hannah Fumoleau - Soprano

This year's popular Sunday afternoon slot at St Oswin's Church is presented by two superb musicians from our area: Hannah Fumoleau and Len Young.  Hannah and Len will be familiar to Wylam concert goers, having performed in the festival several times over the years.  Whilst usually performing with choirs, in this year's festival we'll hear a solo recital from Hannah with Len accompanying at the piano.

Myths and Stories: Greece and Water
Hannah Fumoleau presents this recital exploring two areas of storytelling in classical music.  From Handel and Purcell interpretations of Greek mythology, to the lasting, and oft repeated, tale of love divided by water with Rebecca Clarke and Dvorak.  Separated by a modern epic - Hilary Tann's powerful telling of Arachne, this recital places human emotion at the centre of it all.
