We're pleased to announce April's exclusive Wyred Up event focusing on Visitor Economy - attracting visitors and the infrastructure and services that support their visit.

The event will be held on 27 April 2023, at The Flowerbowl Entertainment Centre. The event will start at 4.30 for teas, coffees and networking, with speakers from 5pm.

Our speakers are:

Rachel McQueen, CEO of Marketing Lancashire - Rachel will be talking about the value of the visitor economy and the impact that it makes more broadly, beyond just attracting visitors (hugely important to the economy as they are in their own right), but also attracting talent and investment.

Orchard Glamping - fresh from their winning appearance on Channel 4's "Four in a Bed" programme they will be talking about involved in the programme and what it’s meant for them since airing.

Wyre Council' s own Emma Lyons, Communications and Visitor Economy Manager, will be discussing the Wyre approach to supporting and building the visitor economy.
