National Moth Night - bat and moth evening
Celebrate National Moth Week with a bat walk and moth evening with local naturalist Dave McGrath and the Wyre Rangers. We will take a short walk through the country park in search of bats and moths and finish at the visitor centre for a brew and chance to look at any moths we have found in close up.
Booking is essential.
Suitable for all ages but no unaccompanied under 18’s (Parent or Guardian must stay with children at all times).
What to Bring With You:
- Please wear outdoor clothing and footwear.
- Any medication required.
- Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions.
- Stout footwear – flip flop style footwear not allowed.
- A drink.
- A torch.

POOR WEATHER
A ranger/walk leader will be at the start of an activity whatever the weather. In extreme conditions, the leader of the group will take a decision on the day whether or not cancel.
