The Abbeystead Two Rivers Super- Legstretcher

This Super-Legstretcher is a longer walk than our normal Legstretchers. This walk follows the top loop section of the Wyre Way. It takes in the Tarnbrook Wyre and the Marshaw Wyre streams, (before they join to form the main River Wyre). The route has some steady climbs but no short sharp ascents. A great chance to discover this hidden area of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape.

What to Bring With You:

• Please wear outdoor clothing and footwear appropriate to the weather conditions.
• Any medication required.
• Stout footwear – flip flop style footwear not allowed.
• A drink and snacks.

POOR WEATHER

A ranger/walk leader will be at the start of an activity whatever the weather. In extreme conditions, the leader of the group will take a decision on the day whether or not cancel.
