Garstang and the Lancaster Canal Tramper Trek and Ramble 🐾

Join the rangers for a delightful ramble (tramper trek) around the picturesque countryside near Garstang. This walk, featuring no stiles and gentle slopes, offers a perfect opportunity to discover the area's rich wildlife and beautiful landscape. Enjoy the serene environment and learn more about the natural wonders that make this region so special.

Grade moderate distance 5 miles

This walk is graded as ‘Moderate’ meaning you can expect uneven ground, fields, lanes and tracks with some moderate slopes, expect stiles and/or livestock.

Booking is essential

What to Bring With You:

• Please wear outdoor clothing and footwear appropriate to the weather conditions.
• Any medication required.
• Stout footwear – flip flop style footwear not allowed.
• A drink and snacks.

All chargeable activities need to be paid for in advance at the time of booking. All activities are non-refundable. We are unable to take cash payments.

A ranger/walk leader will be at the start of an activity whatever the weather. In extreme conditions, the leader of the group will take a decision on the day whether or not cancel.
