DEVELOP YOUR ROLE IN EVOLVING HUMAN ORGANISATIONAL SYSTEMS - CO-CREATE A BETTER FUTURE - FORM A GLOBAL COMMUNITY
Advanced Diploma in Systemic Organisational Culture Transformation
Online Dates for Module 1:
In these times, conversations are turning to our future, and as we yet do not have a clear narrative for moving from surviving to thriving in the challenges of our time. Much has been said about lack of preparation and forces of both denial and control which have kept the world in gridlock. However, there is another way to see things and a new narrative to be created, as we begin to understand better what our world needs. Many organisations are both desperate to help a greater good yet struggling to shift culture and work simultaneously at a number of interconnected aspects of our world. Time is running out and acceleration of cultural shift and development of new understandings about how to do this, is key.
However, this cannot just be tackled from an intellectual perspective. Key to success is a deeper understanding of humanity as a living system and our connectedness, not just to each other, but to a greater universe that we are still exploring, and of which we know so little. And importantly, the development of change agents - we cannot transform others into states and places that we have not explored ourselves. The potential is huge, the responsibility profound. We have the power to reimagine and reengineer how we organise the business of working together in more effective ways.
Introduction to the Advanced Diploma in Culture Transformation from the Xenergie "OCT" Faculty
Xenergie Advanced Diploma in Organisational Culture Transformation is a transformational journey for experienced consultants, leaders and coaches who want to learn how to bring systemic approaches into their work, and who understand that change agency is as much about "inner state", as it is about knowledge, and mapping from the "I" to the "we", from the micro to the macro and macro to micro. Our programme develops practitioners from being great consultants, leaders and coaches to being system alchemists, on a continuing journey of mastery, through ongoing connection with our international systemic community.
Xenergie's purpose is to facilitate this journey and to help all kinds of organisations to navigate the transition to a more enlightened way of working and one that will enable organisations and teams to collaborate better together to solve some of the biggest problems of our time. We offer a practical process that combines organisation development thought leadership, self-reflection, teamwork, enlightenment, and a supported container, a clear space, to learn, share your experience and explore your leadership of transformational change.
What do we mean by Community?
Change happens in tribes and groups and communities of practice are places where we can engage in supported action learning together. Our associated learning programme, therefore, supports the development of a global community of practice that will have a shared language and process for developing all kinds of work in many fields. We seek leaders who want to make a difference, who will bring their knowledge and experience and go deeper into understanding how to work with the interconnections and complexity, transform their way of working and take up meaningful roles as agents of change in the greater system, wherever their calling takes them.
This international programme will unite leaders, consultants, pilgrims, and coaches from a range of fields and countries to join in learning and developing systemic approaches and thinking, building on the knowledge and practice - method and transformational experience - enabled through our Advanced Diploma.
Local communities will emerge who will teach these methods further in local language and context.
How will the Programme work?
The full programme is in 7 modules, which take place over 12-18 months according to the pace at which cohorts decide to travel and according to how circumstances call and allow. The programme begins with Module 1 - Gathering the System in June through August 2020, over two broad time zones:
Group 1: Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand
Group 2: Africa, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Canada/USA.
Regional community groups will also form through the programme, which for now, will run online and will embrace the challenges of the times we are in, to enable connectivity and learning across borders and divides.
We have been creating a global community of Systemic Practitioners, slowly and with integrity, since 2010. This is a trusted network and consulting force who support each other in personal and professional growth and the practice experience of working with the methodology, which itself is constantly evolving, and contributing to shifting outcomes not just organisationally, but for the thriving of our communities, nations and of our planet.
Programme Pedigree
Originally founded in Ireland, now in its 7th year, the Advanced Diploma in Culture Transformation and has superb reviews some of which you will find below. Principles of the methodology have been applied in a range of industries and sectors from financial services and medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturing to government, public health and community organisations. Its roots also grew from the experience of the Grubb Institute and the Tavistock tradition in complex group relations situations with the peace talks in Northern Ireland and Truth & Reconciliation in South Africa, and redeveloped with more modern-day models such as Scharmer's Theory U and Wilber's AQAL matrix. What Xenergie brings is the practical lived experience in consulting and in developing our own organisation through these models with application in real-life situations with our clients, many of whom are community members.
Who is this for?
The programme is for experienced people from any sector, gender and age group, who believe they have the capacity within themselves to go deeper and wider in their thinking and being, who are ready to pay mindful attention to both people dynamics and process, as well as new ideas and concepts, and is hungry for purposeful change and challenge within themselves. You will be eager to learn how to facilitate others and design interventions for wider and deeper system change.
The programme is ideal for non-executive directors, investors and board members, those considering "retirement" who do not wish to retire, as well as VPs and C-Suite leaders and those in Organisation Development or complex Project roles. Equally we welcome young leaders who have a passionate vision for the future and can demonstrate high levels of awareness of themselves and the systems around them. The fusion of generations, genders, beliefs and nations is a feature of this programme.
Approach
In considering cultural transformation, one can only transform others with an authentic personal and practical experience of what transformation entails. The Xenergie programme is all about walking your talk, and expanding the experience of "agency" - understanding yourself and your cohort as a system and live laboratory engaged in systemic change at both a micro and macro level. Unlike many academic courses, this is highly practical and equally stimulating to the intellect, body and spirit.
The approach seeks to bring about a shift in Seeing, Being, Thinking, Doing, Impact, Knowing and eventually Outcomes in an interactive transformational process. During the 7 modules of this personal and collective journey, you will:
Whilst we have run many online sessions before, this is the first year we have run the entire Diploma online. As the global COVid-19 crisis evolves, we hope that some of the modules will take place in local communities and agreed locations where we can all meet. We will work with the cohort to bring this to fruition as part of our collaboration experience. This is part of the space and excitement of what can emerge together!
