In his never ending pursuit to uncover the Story of all Stories, URLAND’s master storyteller Thomas and sound designer Tomas Loos present Buy Me a Drink and I’ll Tell You a Story, an immersive audio fiction series available online. For XTMR URLAND turns episode 1 (season 1) into a live version.

One man, one bar, infinite stories.

This is a live spatial audio performance - Thomas Dudkiewicz plays multiple characters with live foley and sound effects to create a sonic ghost story like you've never heard before.

URLAND is a Rotterdam-based performance collective making live art in digital times. Working at the intersection of theatre, music, visual culture and technology, they create eclectic, interdisciplinary experiences around the big questions of our time — consciousness, fiction, artificial intelligence, the internet. Their starting point is simple: fiction tells us more about the world than any scientific framework ever could.
Sound is central to how URLAND works. Each production is built collectively by Geräuschmacher Jimi Zoet, Bildermacher Marijn Alexander de Jong and Geschichtenmacher Thomas Dudkiewicz - sound-maker, image-maker and story-maker - whose combined instincts produce work that is as much heard as it is seen. Technology is always a means, never an end.

Radio Limbo Hastings - Pete Hazell/Limbo Tapes
This atmospheric and darkly playful show celebrates radio as a shape-shifting escape from reality. Radio Limbo presents alternative listening experiences by recycling and remixing audio plunder from a range of broadcast styles and eras. Hosted by Pete Hazell, the listener is guided through a signature montage of imaginary scenes, live sound, and audio curios that reflect, parody and warp familiar signals. At times surreal and dreamlike, other times satirical or theatrical, the show takes themes associated with the venue and treats them as threads to pull at.

Pete Hazell is a music and audio artist from Bristol, focusing on experimental music and a great deal of time-worn sampling. Founder of the cassette label 'Limbo Tapes' and host of 'Radio Limbo' he has enjoyed a residency on Bristol's DIY station 'Noods Radio' since 2018. In recent years he has created and produced the experimental audio fiction series 'Limbo Calling', and performed live shows at Audio Arts festivals in the UK and Switzerland. Pete also organises events for In The Dark in Bristol, and helps facilitate audio related workshops.

An interactive performance sitting at the intersection of internet culture, social psychology and live entertainment. As host and moderator, Kyla Jardine takes you from URL to IRL, narrating the intriguing depths of Reddit's r/AmITheAsshole on stage.

You, the audience, become a living subreddit forum. You cast judgement by voting with coloured flags: green for Not The Asshole (NTA), red for You're The Asshole (YTA), yellow for Everyone Sucks Here (ESH). Judgement builds in real time: flags go up after the title, at the midpoint, and at the resolution of each story.

Live piano, played by Felix Ford, translates the room's verdicts into sound: NTA resolves major, YTA turns minor, ESH stays dissonant. The individual determines the chord. The majority determines its dynamic. The split of the room shapes its texture.

Kyla Jardine is an interdisciplinary creator, award-winning writer, and spoken word artist. Her work centres marginalised voices and stories that unapologetically take up space, exploring belonging, identity, memory, and transformation through storytelling and the power of what is left unspoken. As a socially engaged artist, she has worked with organisations across the South East, most recently as Towner Eastbourne's Family Day Artist (2025–26)

Community sings - 1990s classics edition with Felix Ford & Friends
Join Felix and friends on stage for an informal and joyous community sing-a-long around a piano. Song-sheets and accompaniment will be provided, and no rehearsals are needed. This is a non-perfectionist, maximum audience participation event in which we will sing classic 1990s dance and pop songs together for the memories, for the optimistic lyrics, and for the sheer joy of it. Bring your voice, your friends and a willing heart.

Felix Ford is a neurodivergent disabled artist whose work foregrounds the preciousness of our everyday lives, and the essential need for play. Felix cultivates whimsy as a form of resistance to late-stage capitalist grind-culture and despair. She is currently exploring new art forms after arthritis in her wrists has curtailed her hand-knitting activities and runs a creative online school focused on collage and journaling. Current special interests include carving rubber stamps that commemorate her special beach finds; finding knitting patterns to play on her music box; and learning how to play 1990s dance tunes on her cherished old upright piano.
