Aboriginal Drum Making Workshop

Join a step by step drum adult workshop for the community at the Creative Portal in the Yarmouth Mall. Ron Surette will lead participants through the procedure ensuring everyone leaves with a complete 15 inch drum and baton. Materials supplied include cedar hoop, deer hide, a moose horn handle and lacing. The baton is a hand turned hardwood handle covered with felt. A completed drum is valued at approximately $400.
