Natty Wine Club with CH Wines
Wednesday 30th April, join us on the ground floor bar for a 7pm arrival.
Working with our pals at CH Wines we will be showing absolute belting natural and low intervention wines, funk will be top of the bill with some truly experimental wines on show for this one.
This will be fun and informal delve into some really exciting wines for anyone looking to learn more about wine or a chance tp try some hard to find gems, for those in know.
We will be tasting 6 wines with a full wine list to follow and some pretty exciting bar snacks to enjoy alongside.
Pet Nat Comboi, Bobal, Bodegas Gratias, Valencia, SpainAggressively fizzy and vibrantly pink. This Pet Nat is full of spicy fruits, tangy tannins, and sweet liquorice.
Sotovelo Palomino, Diatomists, Jerez, SpainIf Sherry was a wine. Unfined and unfiltered, aged under a veil of Flor, and full of tangy saline, umami flavours.
Catarratto (Orange), Fabrizio Vella, SicilyA big old orange wine full of structure and funk! Lemon drizzle on the finish, with bruised apples and dry citrus.
Carbonic Syrah, Heavens House Party, Mclaren Vale, AustraliaCarbonic fermentation Syrah, with lots for forest fruits, balsamic strawberries, and a lick of smoke on the finish.
Solera Cabernet Franc, Franc de Bel, Bordeaux, FranceA 5 year Solera system Cabernet Franc from Bordeaux. Funky, but full of crunchy, structured fruit.
£35 per person + booking fee.
