YETI PRESENTS: WILD ATLANTIC SALMON

Join us for an afternoon by the Tyne to celebrate the premier of Wild Atlantic Salmon — a short film from YETI Presents, spotlighting Bywell, the River Tyne, the Atlantic Salmon Trust, and ongoing efforts to protect wild salmon.

The event includes free casting lessons, conservation talks, plenty of good food, and the chance to meet some of the people involved in the film and the work behind it.

Schedule of events:

• 12:00 PM – Weber BBQ Opens

Food will be available from midday, served fresh off the BBQ, and it’s on the house! 

• 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM – Free Casting Lessons & Cast Interviews

Have a go with expert instructors and listen in as Stephan Dombaj interviews members of the film cast.

• 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM – River Walks & Talks

Learn more about the river and conservation efforts with short talks and guided walks from the Atlantic Salmon Trust, Tyne Rivers Trust, and GWCT (30 minutes each).

• 4:00 PM – Game Cart Arrives for Dinner 

A selection of local game will be available to buy for dinner. (Please bring cash)

• 5:00 PM – YETI PRESENTS: WILD ATLANTIC SALMON

The day wraps up with an outdoor cinema screening by the river.
