At the YMCA of Greater Williamson County, we are committed to being there for our community, during the good times and the hard times. It is no secret that the past few months have been difficult, and for many, the effects of COVID-19 are still felt strongly. When we work together we are stronger, but more importantly, when we stay together, our communities are stronger. Our neighbors are going to need us more than ever in the coming months. There is fear that they won't be able to afford mandated virtual schooling or childcare once they return to work. They fear that their children will not be able to participate in youth sports, or they will have to cancel their membership and the community they turn to for staying healthy in body, mind, and spirit. The YMCA of GWC is committed to be there for our community during good times and the bad!
A large part of how the YMCA of GWC raises the funds needed to support Annual Campaign is through special events. Henrietta Hoopla has been a staple event for the community of Hutto for many years now. The safety of our attendees, volunteers, and staff are extremely important to us, so this year the Hoopla is going virtual!
