An acoustic concert of Scottish harp and guitar music from Rachel Hair and Ron Jappy.
Rachel teaches harp for Culture Vannin and Yn Chruinnaght is delighted that some of her advanced Manx students from Claasagh will also be performing this evening.
The concert is part of the ‘Isle of Knox’ celebrations which honours the 160th anniversary of Manx arts & crafts designer Archibald Knox. Claasagh will be performing Rachel Hair’s Knox-inspired suite, "The Deer’s Cry" which was commissioned by Culture Vannin and the Archibald Knox Society for his 150th anniversary. The Royal Chapel in St John’s is also on the Knox Trail as it houses the Manx Patriot of Honour plague dedicated to the artist.
Make sure you also go and see the world’s largest exhibition of works by Archibald Knox at the Manx Museum in Douglas: Knox - Order and Beauty.

Tickets also available to buy in Celtic Gold and Mannin Music, Peel.
