Provincial Day Out in London - Supreme Grand Chapter Quarterly Communication

Dear Companion

As in previous years, the M E Grand Superintendent has designated the Quarterly Communication of Supreme Grand

Chapter held in November as our ‘Provincial Day Out’ in London. This Quarterly Communication of Supreme Grand

Chapter this year is to be held on Wednesday 11th November 2026.

The Rulers, together with other Supreme Grand Chapter Officers, would greatly enjoy the company of Companions

from the Province at the lunch at The Sun Tavern, 66 Long Acre, London, WC2E 9JD (Lunch served at 13:00 Finish

approx. 16:00).

If you wish to attend what is likely to be a very special day, you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

Applications can only be dealt with when accompanied by payment on a strictly first come, first served basis and are

limited to the first 40 places. Group bookings can only be accepted when accompanied by all relevant payments.

All Chapter Companions and Excellent Companions are eligible to attend.

Those intending to participate are reminded of the reduced fares which are available when they make early

reservations with the train companies.

All Companions attending must wear the SCG Tie, or plain Black Tie, and the appropriate aprons and Collars.

Principals are reminded they must wear their appropriate collar. Qualified Companions should wear the Royal Arch

Breast Jewel (or Grand Superintendent’s Jewel and Collarette). Tercentenary Jewels can also be worn.

Note: The Past Principals Jewel should not be worn as an alternative to the Jewel of the Order.

White Gloves are not worn in SGC.

Doors open at 11.15 am and Companions are requested to be seated by 11:30 am, SGC commences at 12.00 noon.

Note: Provincial ties and Festival Jewels may NOT be worn to gain entry into Supreme Grand Chapter.
