This 6 week course runs from 20th April to 25th May inclusive. (NB. Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. If restrictions change, the course may change to a virtual one if that is the only option.)
This in person yoga course is able to run because of the exemption from restrictions for postnatal support. My other types of yoga class will not be able to meet in person until mid-May.
This class is here to support you and your baby in your postnatal period. From six weeks postnatal (if you feel ready!) until crawling. [NB Usually the age limit is 1 year but unfortunately due to restrictions I can't have crawling babies in the class :( ]
If you have had a caesarean birth or other intervention during the birth it is important that you go at the right pace for you, healing from the inside out and I can facilitate that. Sometimes what is needed most is to relax with others who understand the demands of motherhood. You may want to wait until 10 weeks postnatal and definitely have the GP's sign off to exercise.
Please be aware of the following before booking:
Mother and Baby Yoga is about going with the flow. So if your baby cries during the class it's OK! You can feed the baby during the class, change their nappy or let them nap.
