Spooky Halloween Gin Tasting & Ghost Story Reading in the 16th Century York Gin shop
Boo! Get into the Halloween spirit with this spooky gin tasting and ghost story reading event with York Gin.
The setting is the 16th Century York Gin shop - next door to the Golden Fleece, York's most haunted pub.
York's own ghost story writer Ben Sawyer will read from his latest book, the Holy Trinity and the Ghost of York.
Meanwhile, the York Gin experts take you through some of our gins - including York Gin Grey Lady, inspired by York Theatre Royal's own ghost.
Here's what this special ghostly tasting includes:
- A full Halloween themed G&T on arrival in the specially decorated shop (a perfect serve of our gold award-winning London Dry and Fever-Tree Light)
- Ghost story writer Ben Sawyer will read passages from his urban fantasy novel, Holly Trinity and the Ghosts of York - and each of our gins will be paired with a character from the novel
- York Gin's experts will provide info on each of the gins in our range as you enjoy generous tasters
- Towards the end of the tasting, you’ll choose your favourite York Gin for another full G&T to round off the evening
- Signed copies of the book will be available to buy at a discount after the tasting and you can get 10% off any bottles or gift packs you buy after the event too
Hosted in the York Gin Shop, 12 Pavement, YO1 9UP, starting at 6:30pm.
