What Does Your Online Presence Say About Your Grantmaking? - Learning from the Foundation Practice Rating
Need help?
The Foundation Practice Rating (FPR) is designed to encourage improvement in funding practices amongst UK charitable foundations - specifically around their diversity, accountability and transparency. Over the last five years, the FPR has assessed 363 UK-based charitable grant-making foundations of varying sizes throughout the UK. It aims to create more public accountability of funders through an independent of publicly available information.
Has the FPR helped improve funding practice? What can Yorkshire Funder members take from the learning? Join us for this insightful webinar facilitated by Danielle Walker Palmour, Director of Friends Provident Foundation, who created the FPR.
In this webinar, Danielle will:
- Introduce attendees to the FPR, why it was created, and how it works.
- Draw out the learning and insights that the FPR has generated.
- Explore with attendees how they can use the FPR to improve their own practice, even if they are not formally assessed by FPR researchers.
- Take questions and comments on the FPR to feed into the review of criteria and evaluation
This webinar will be of interest to anyone curious about how they can improve their organisation's funding practice, including trustees.
This session is free for Yorkshire Funders' members to attend (£20 for non-members). Please register for this session to reserve your place.
