Introducing our 2026 Wine Wednesdays

A series of evening tasting events taking place on the last Wednesday of every month, at York Wines' Moor Farm premises.

Join us to chat about, and taste some interesting and more unusual wines in a relaxed and informal setting.

Wine Wednesdays will give you the perfect opportunity to try before you buy!

Once again, we will have a number of visiting producers and suppliers throughout the year, who will be showcasing their ranges, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

For just £7.50 per person, per evening, you will be able to taste a minimum of 5 wines, and if you buy 12 tickets in advance,  you will just pay for 10.

Host - Alex Edwards - York Wines

Alex didn't get chance to host a Wine Wednesday in 2025, so she's bagsied month one! Join us and sample some great additions to the portfolio that you might not have discovered yet... plus we'll have some great ideas for Valentine's Day... The wines we'll be tasting are all from France, and are all directly imported by York Wines from the producers.

This month we'll be tasting two sparkling wines, two whites, one rosé, two reds and a sweet wine from the York Wines portfolio, and they're all 'New Kids on the Barrel'! It's a fantastic selection to kick off the 2026 series with!

Host - Jo Burnett - Winetraders

Winetraders are Italian wine specialists. This month, Jo will be joined by Daniela, a winemaker from Terradora, and we will be lucky enough to sample Greco di Tufo, Falaghina, Fiano and Lacryma Christi wines. Plus there will be a couple of bonus wines added in too...
