Drawn from real interviews following the hate-driven murder of Matthew Shepard in 1998, this powerful documentary play explores a community wrestling with grief, identity, prejudice, and change. Through dynamic storytelling and ensemble performance, the cast creates a mosaic of voices that invites audiences to listen, reflect, and act.

Set in Laramie, Wyoming, the play captures diverse perspectives—from friends and family to clergy and law enforcement—revealing both compassion and conflict in the search for understanding. It challenges us to confront difficult truths about belonging and intolerance while highlighting resilience and hope.
