You Can Laugh You Know: Open Mic Christmas Party!

We are You Can Laugh You Know and we are Leeds' first (and best) BBC comedy supported disabled and neurodiverse led comedy night.

We showcase a range of disabled talent from emerging comedians to established names on the British comedy circuit!

Expect a night full of empowerment, jokes that challenge you and lots of laughter.

Welcome to our Big Christmas Open Mic Party!

Yes, that is right it is an open mic so as long as you are disabled or neurodiverse, you can have a go!

Whether you are a seasoned professional or just fancy trying something new, all are welcome. 

We will have limited open mic spots available so to avoid disappointment, we suggest emailing the organisers beforehand stating your interest.

The evening will be hosted by the always fabulous Amelia Rose with guest spots from F R Kesby and The Hungry Enby.

We're ending the year spreading Christmas cheer and giving a chance for the gift of comedy to be spread far and wide for all to hear!

Doors will be at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8pm and we will finish at 10:30pm.

There will also be a 15-20 minute interval during this time.

Accessibility Information

The Heart Centre is just off a main road and it is on a frequent bus route. There is also a plethora of accessible parking spaces just outside the venue with street parking located nearby. We additionally have a ramped entrance way, a spacious gig room and two accessible toilets (including a changing places) There are also no flashing lights, carers\PAs get in for free and assistance dogs are very welcome. The gig is run as a relaxed performance to be sensitive to the needs of the autistic and neurodiverse community.
