The 4th Annual - Makers of Playing Cards and Guild of Young Freemen - Evening of Cards!

The Makers of Playing Cards have once again thrown down the gauntlet and challenged the Young Freemen to a night of cards, at The Old Doctor Butler's Head, with prizes to be won!

The featured game for the evening will be “Swedish Pursuit,” a precursor to the well-known game Uno. Our Members on the inside assure us that this game, which is both easy to learn and enjoyable, requires little to no skill.

6.15pm for a 6.30pm start to the games!

Supper will include one of the following options:
1. Chicken Milanese
2. Burger and chips
3. Chicken and ham hock pie
4. Cauliflower and spinach Balti

Please indicate your choice in dietary requirements when checking out!

Members are welcome to remain at the bar for drinks with the Makers of Playing Cards, to learn more about the Company, after the games conclude. Carriages (from the private room upstairs) at 10.30pm, although, the pub will remain open downstairs after.

Please note that refunds cannot be offered after Monday, 13th July. The £ 5+ VAT booking fee is non-refundable.
