YRP L&SE are pleased to present the Elizabeth Line RCC Tour!

Event description

The event will consist of a guided tour of the control centre itself with an explanation of the roles and systems in the room, followed by a presentation on the Elizabeth line and the stakeholders involved in its operation.

Directions to venue

Walking route from Romford station is as follows:

• Note: if using an Oyster card, you will need to ensure you ‘tap out’ and inform station staff that you are visiting the ROC and ‘tap in’ on your return journey
• Walk to the London end of platform 2 (opposite end to platform 1) and at the gate (code provided later)
• Proceed down the slope and at the next gate, use the same code
• Continue walking towards the ROC which will be directly in front of you, ensure you take the left hand path towards the car park at the junction
• Upon arrival at the security gate, please use the buzzer system to alert reception who will provide access
• Hosts will need to provide reception with names of those attending in advance for security reasons

The building is step free and accessible.

Tickets

There are 9 spaces available and these are first come first served. A £1 non-refundable deposit is required to ensure turnout.
