YRP Cymru Wales Summer Ramble Social

St Fagans Walk Social

Join YRP Cymru Wales for a walking social on Saturday 13th June from Waun-Gron Park Railway Station to the historic outdoor St Fagans National Museum of History on the outskirts of Cardiff.

Walking along the Ely Trail, the walk will take just under an hour in each direction, and we will be stopping at the Plymouth Arms for a drink before returning back towards the city centre.

10.45-10.55 Meet at Waun-Gron Park. The park is located approximately 1 minute from Waun-Gron Park Railway Station, with a train arriving from the Valleys at 10.45 and from Cardiff Central at 10.50 (train departs from Cardiff Central at 10.43 for Aberdare).

10.55-12.00 Walk to St Fagans via Bwlch Road and the Ely Trail.

12.00-13.40 Explore St Fagans and stop for refreshments at Plymouth Arms Pub (Museum entry is free).

13.40-14.45 Walk back to Waun-Gron Park Railway Station.

14.45-14.50 Event End / Trains Home. Train departing to Cardiff at 14.45 and to the Valleys at 15.50.

Please note that if the weather is unsuitable this event will be rearranged for Saturday 27^th June.

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Please dress for the weather conditions on the day (such as wearing suncream, a sun cap, sunglasses if required) and bring a bottle of water.
