Suzi Ruffell, Young Roots’ Patron, and celebrated comedian from Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and The Jonathan Ross Show, is hosting a Comedy Fundraiser in support of Young Roots. Suzi will be joined at the Backyard Comedy Club by fellow outstanding comedians, who you will know from stage, radio, and screen. The line-up* includes:

The bar and kitchen will be open from 6 pm. Tickets must be scanned and exchanged for a wristband by 7:15 pm at the box office of the venue, so we would encourage you to arrive before this time.
How to join us
You can purchase a ticket on this site and you will receive your tickets with a QR code via email. Your tickets will be scanned, so please make sure to have them either printed or displayed on your phone. Tickets will be sold until 6 pm on the day, subject to availability. Any tickets remaining after 6 pm can be purchased for £20 at the door.
About Young Roots
Suzi Ruffell’s All-Stars is a Comedy Fundraiser in support of Young Roots. Proceeds from your ticket purchase will go directly to supporting young refugees, aged 11-25, living in London. Young Roots supports young refugees and asylum seekers to improve their wellbeing and fulfil their potential. Your purchase will help us to continue providing:
In 2021, we worked with 739 young people from 46 countries. We can do this work because of people like you, and together we can create welcoming communities so young people can rebuild their lives in safety.
Terms and Conditions
Tickets must be exchanged for wristbands at the box office by 7:15 pm, otherwise you may incur a £3 late arrival fee by the venue per ticket holder. You cannot exchange tickets on behalf of people in your party who are not on the premises.

The venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users and people with mobility issues – there are no steps, the venue is all on one level, and they have wide doorways for easy access.
The closest stations are Bethnal Green tube station and Bethnal Green overground station.
