YourSound Presents: Live Music in The Thames Tunnel Shaft

Thu 3 Dec 2026 6:45 PM - 10:00 PM Brunel Museum, SE16 4LF

Live Music in an Underwater Tunnel

An intimate evening of soul, jazz, strings and more in the world’s first tunnel under the Thames.

Fifty feet below Rotherhithe sits the Thames Tunnel Shaft, the brick entrance hall Brunel built in 1843. For one night in December we’re filling it with multiple short live sets from multi disciplined musicians, in a running order designed to build the energy as the night progresses.

The line-up:

Kitty Noble: Kitty's new music marks the return to writing on the piano, where she began composing at the age of nine. This will be Kitty’s first show in the city in over a year. Expect a dynamic set, rich vocals and intricate songwriting.

Georgie Ward - A pianist and composer whose career has taken her to stages around the world touring in the pop industry, Georgie Ward brings a more personal side of her musical world to this rare, intimate solo performance….

Isobelle Austin - A London cellist who writes her own pieces for solo cello and moves freely between acoustic and electric, classical and contemporary. Her compositions have been performed at London Fashion Week and recorded for film and TV, including Netflix’s One Day. A solo cello set in a round brick room 50ft underground, which is the sound this evening was built around.

Theo & Sahra - Singer/songwriter SAHRA together with her husband, saxophonist,  Theo Erskine (Mark Kavuma /The Banger factory / Oscar Jerome) they made a 5 -track EP when she was 7 months pregnant with their daughter. They are signed to French label Délicieuse Records and below is the private listen link to the 'For You' EP being released on November 20th.
