with anxiety,depression, mid-life drama which became the raw material for this show!

With professional feedback on stagecraft, delivery, structure and joke writing
their sets are now honed, sharp and ready to perform to a live audience!

Your MC for the night is yours truly, Ciaran McMahon
Ciaran has performed on many stages from the Olympia Theatre, The Laughter Lounge, gigging in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025 -and asked back for 2026!  Ciaran has performed all over Ireland and abroad from NYC, Munich, Prague, Lisbon and even Longford! 
Stand Up Host Improvisor and Facilitator of the You Talk Funny Comedy Workshops - he is a master of creating excellent writing and performance workshops for the last 20 years. Ciaran creates a great atmosphere for performers and audiences to have a thoroughly great night.

Blayne Hosey is a hilarious comedian hailing from Wexford! We call him the Lord Mayor of Comedy down there, he has brought so many acts to Wexford and fathered a scene that is still alive and kicking! With his quick wit and undeniable charm, Blayne has become the beloved resident MC for both The Bailey Laughs Comedy Club and The Purple And Bold Comedy Club. Since his You Talk Funny workshop Blayne has shared the spotlight with Ireland's top acts, leaving audiences in stitches across Ireland and the UK.

Paula Nash hails from Galway and has been rocking gigs from Dublin and back again for the last 3 years! Recently returning to the You Talk Funny workshop Paula has since been booked in the Comedy Cellar in the International Bar, and is going from strength to strength. Do not be fooled by this cute, puppy-eyed demeanor - in comedy terms, she'll cut ya!

Brendan O'Flynn Graduate from the You Talk funny camp and hailing from (a very posh area on) Dublin's Southside, Brendan selflessly cuts his neighbours grass- then judges them for not doing it themselves! - its the one time he not constantly mistaken for a billionaire...
As an actor he said, 'Why not comedy? ' He brought the house down the last time, no doubt he will do it again this time too!

Caroline Kelly is back! Since rocking her graduatiion gig Caroline has even gigged in Irish - she is funnier in English- who knew! Her agent advised her to play to her strengths!  A proud mother and a master of useless information ! Her biggest frustration is being constantly mistaken for looking like the postergirl for the Social Democrats! Her debut performance was out of this world - so make sure not to miss her in action this time! She has since run a marathon so now she has all the smugness of someone... who has run a marathon!

Natasha Brooks hails from Enniscorthy and has gigged for several years all over Ireland bringing her unique view of the world from the lens of brain that works a different way. After the slaggin and abuse that Natasha has received, do not take her on or she'll roast you! A brilliant act to see with dark and shocking undertones but always funny AF!

Vickki Baxter is a friendly innocent Wexford woman who is kind and approachable - until you get to know her! Then you'll find out how sharp, witty and dangerously funny she is... Making her debut in the You Talk Funny camp, Vikki will rock this gig and leave you wanting more- if you can keep up with her!

JONATHAN SHEEHAN has performed all over the world including the Vodafone comedy festival & Longitude. He has also brought his own solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Belfast and Cork Comedy Festival to sold out audiences and wide acclaim. He has also appeared in his upcoming show in Maynooth Comedy Festival Described by entertainment.ie "very funny, great storyteller".

For people who have performed on stage before- you get
 trigger notes, videos, writing exercises, improv challenges and weekly run throughs to perfect a stage ready set.
There are online beginners introduction courses and also beginners face2face workshops - then there is the advanced workshop for people who have performed stand up before. - Go on- I dare ya- give it a go!
