Course Overview

This interactive online workshop introduces you to the Youth Achievement Awards (YAA), a suite of four SCQF-credit-rated awards that recognise young people’s personal development, leadership and achievements.

You will be introduced to each award level, understand what evidence young people must produce, and gain the confidence to support, deliver and assess YAA within your youth group, school or project.

This training builds on the foundations of Level 1 (Hi5 & DYA) and extends your knowledge of the youth work approach, the plan–do–review model and the Youth Scotland quality assurance framework.

To book this course, you must have completed:
Level 1 – Introductory Training to Hi5 & DYA
within the last 6 months or have current practice of supporting Hi5 & DYA in the last 24 months.

Bookings that do not meet this requirement may be cancelled.
If you still need Level 1, please visit our website to book.
