Evening Concert with Kings Chamber Orchestra

Kings Chamber Orchestra, on sparkling form, will delight audiences with romance, wonder and hope. It is the 40th year since the KCO dream began. This winter tour, 'The Light Fantastic', will deliver a champagne bottle of a program celebrating all the years we have been together! There will be surprise elements: carols, stories, and music from the silver screen, amid classic favourites by Tchaikovsky, Nielsen, Strauss, Mozart and many more. Don't miss out on an evening of classical music in our candle-lit Chapel as the orchestra soothe your soul with their heavenly sounds. KCO's founder and conductor, Gerard Le Feuvre, will ensure you have some good laughs as he tells stories from his most unusual life as a professional cellist. This is a London based professional chamber orchestra of friends (but playing in Harpenden!) and they are not above some playful antics! At times, you will be transported as the musicians move through the audience, improvising and creating the most beautiful music spontaneously and with great joy. With Advent carols and poignant reflections from Gerard, this concert will truly be, as our regulars say, "when my Christmas really starts!" Come and join us!
