Online Class with Naka Akira - Kinbakushi: mindset and developement

Rope Tales is honored to present an online class with Naka Akira.

This class is conceived as a moment of direct encounter with Naka-san, beyond technique.
During the livestream, Naka-san will answer participants’ questions and share his personal experience, shaped by years of practice, research, and work with the body and rope.

He will speak about choices, transformations, the relationship with those who receive the rope, and the path that led his style to take shape over time and to become one of the most sought-after in the West.
An open space for dialogue, reflection, and direct transmission, for those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of his approach to kinbaku and his developement over the years.

The class will last approximately 3 hours including a short break.

• Milan → 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (Saturday)

• London → 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM (Saturday)

• New York → 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM (Saturday)

• Los Angeles → 4:30 AM – 7:30 AM (night between Friday and Saturday)

• Melbourne → 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM (night between Saturday and Sunday)

We have prepared a set of pre-arranged questions to facilitate a smooth and engaging lecture. However, there will also be space for participants to ask additional questions during the live session.

Considering the screening, the live commentary, and the Q&A, we expect the total experience to last approximately 3 hours.

To allow sufficient time for interaction, the number of participants is limited. Please secure your ticket as soon as possible.

Recordings of previous classes from this series (where available) will also be offered as optional add-ons during checkout.

The recording

The zoom call will be recorded and distributed to all the attendees.
In the future, it may also be sold and distributed to other buyers all over the world.
In case you speak during the class, or you broadcast your image with a webcam or similar technology, your voice and/or personal image will be captured.

The access link to the online event will be sent by Zoom Video Inc. a few minutes after your purchase.

The links to the session recordings relevant for this class will be sent with the confirmation email of your purchase.
Together with this links, we will send the other links related to the previous classes.

The recording of this class itself will be sent within a week after this event is over, after the necessary edits are completed.

It is strictly forbidden to share any link with anyone.
