Stapled 2026: An evening of Zines and Art Workshops

Stapled Zine fair and Art party returns for 2026 combining four different zine related workshops, over 15 artists selling their original work, and a live vinyl DJ all night.

Starting at 6pm and running until 10pm there will be a chance to drink, draw, socialise, and meet some amazing independent artists from across the UK's zine scene. It's a unique event celebrating independent press and unlimited creativity. Whether joining a workshop or reading some zines, there is something for everyone.

Assembling The Self Collage Workshop

Explore your own identity with magazines and cutouts in collaging! Lara will help you create a piece of art that represents you; discovering representation in unlikely places and combining them to create something uniquely you.

Found Poetry: A recipe for creativity

Come and discover what poetry can be made with phrases you find in magazines. Orlen will guide you in creating a little found poetry zine: finding and selecting material, then assembling it into something silly or profound. You can find inspiration in the unlikeliest of places!

Speed Portraiture

Suitable for drawers of all skill levels come and sit opposite your subject, spend five minutes drawing them, then get a new subject. Led by Matt, a life drawing champion, it’s a freeing, fast paced, and casual opportunity to try your hand at illustration and observational drawing.

Book Binding

Join illustrator Kat Williams for a workshop all about book binding. Make your own Japanese stab bound hard back books, learn a variety of styles for your binds, and experiment with a traditional method of book making.
