Who we are
The courses and workshops on this booking page are run by Cambridge Centre for Attachment Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08113983), registered office: Old Railway Tavern, Station Road, Longstanton, Cambridge CB24 3DS. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us when you book. You can contact us at enquiries@attachment.services.
What we collect
When you book, we collect your name, your email address, any other details you choose to give us, and the details of what you booked. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details.
How we use it, and why
- To run the course you booked: confirming your place, sending joining details and course materials, and contacting you about the course. The legal basis is the contract between us.
- To keep financial and tax records, as the law requires.
- On the live coding course, practice coding is done in groups. Once the training has started we share participants' email addresses within each group so that you can support each other. We do this because it is in the legitimate interests of the group's learning. If you would rather we did not share yours, email us and we will not.
- Occasionally, to tell you about future MotC courses and workshops. You can opt out at any time by emailing us. Opting out does not affect any course you have booked.
Who else handles your information
We use trusted services to run our courses, and they process your information on our behalf: Ticket Tailor (bookings), Stripe (payments), Zoom (live sessions), Dropbox (course materials), IONOS (email and website hosting), FreeAgent (accounts) and our accountants. If you ask to join the Meaning of the Child Interview Network, your email address is also held by Google Groups. We do not sell your information, or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for six years, the period UK law requires for business records. Where course records are needed for MotC accreditation, we keep them for as long as the accreditation remains relevant. We keep your details for news of future courses until you ask us to stop.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Please email enquiries@attachment.services. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
