The event organiser, Centrist Dad, has the legal responsibility to tell ticket buyers and event attendees how their personal information will be collected and used. You can find their Privacy Policy below or contact them to request it.
When you book a ticket for one of our gigs, we may collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your postal address (if you choose to add Gift Aid)
What we use your data for
- To manage your ticket and donation
- To process payments (via Stripe – we never see or store your card details)
- To let you know about future Centrist Dad gigs you might enjoy (typically 2-3 per year)
Gift Aid
If you tick the Gift Aid box, we will pass your name and address to our chosen charity so they can claim Gift Aid from HMRC.
Emails
We may email you once or twice about future events. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we process your data with
- Stripe (for payments)
- Ticket platforms like Ticket Tailor or Eventbrite
- The chosen charity for the event (for the purposes of processing the Gift Aid)
How long we keep it
We only keep your data for as long as we reasonably need it to run events and manage donations.
