WHY DO YOU NEED TO RECORD THIS INFORMATION?
I collect information about why you are using the service and a small amount of information about significant others to you i.e. birth partner. This information enables me to provide a high quality service to you, ensuring that I am equipped with the knowledge of any previous discussions/e-mail prior to each session.

WHAT PROVISION IS MADE TO ENSURE MY INFORMATION IS HELD SECURELY?
Your information will be held confidentially and not shared with anyone else. All information is held on Google, which is secure and encrypted. No paper copies containing personal information are printed or retained.
Text messages
My mobile phone is secured with a pin code.
Emails
My email account requires a user-name and password. All emails held by me will be deleted when the content is no longer needed, i.e. has been acted upon or the course has completed.
Electronic documents
Any electronic documents e.g. an invoice, are password protected and stored on Google, which is secure and encrypted.
IS WHAT WE DISCUSS KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?
Everything we talk about during our sessions is strictly confidential between you and me. To ensure I am doing my job effectively and that I have the right support, I may discuss elements of our sessions such as additional questions you may have, with Katharine Greeves, owner of KGHypnobirthing. During these discussions I do not disclose any details that may identify you and KGHypnobirthing also adheres to GDPR.
Exceptions:
In order to safeguard you and the people around you, if you were to disclose that you were going to carry out harm to yourself or someone else, then under my “Duty of Care” I am obligated by law to inform the relevant authorities. I would always aim to discuss this with you prior to contacting anyone.
If I was issued with a police warrant or court order for information about you, by law I would also have to provide them with the information.
HOW LONG WILL YOU HOLD MY INFORMATION FOR?
Personal data shall only be retained for the purpose that it was intended and for a period of time deemed necessary for legitimate business purposes. This includes; providing the services or products that I supply to you, to process transactions and refunds and to comply with legal, tax and regulatory requirements. Your personal data will continue to be retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to meet my obligations.
Beyond the period that I no longer require your personal data for legitimate business purposes, I will cease to process the data. Your data will be either securely destroyed, erased, deleted or anonymised.
MARKETING
If you have previously agreed to me using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, such as testimonials and you would like me to remove your data please email me on ellivase@gmail.com and I will remove/delete your data within 30 days.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the data I hold on you is up to date, up to and until the course is completed.
