Portsmouth Energy Smart Open Homes are delivered by The Environment Centre (tEC) as part of the My Home Made Better project, which helps Portsmouth, Southampton and Hampshire residents improve the energy efficiency of their homes, and is endorsed by Portsmouth City Council.

We will use your contact details (email address and phone number) to communicate with you about your booking, including sharing the full property address 2-3 days before your scheduled visit and any other important updates. After you have attended the open home, we will also contact you once by email to offer free, independent energy advice and support for your own home as part of the My Home Made Better project. If we do not receive a response to our email, we may contact you once by phone to offer this support. We will not make any further follow-up contact unless you choose to engage with us.
We ask for your home address to help us verify bookings in order to protect the privacy and safety of the homeowners taking part, and help us understand who we are reaching, as required by our funders.
Your name and phone number will be shared with the host homeowner 2-3 days before your scheduled visit. This allows them to contact you directly if there are any last-minute changes, and to confirm visitor details when you arrive.
