● The trustees of the Friends store information about members in order to
process their membership and/or donation and to keep them updated
with the charity’s activities or governance, for example, inviting them to
the Annual General Meeting and events.

as when asking for more information about the charity or in relation to
work/events the charity has planned. Non-members have the right to

The Friends retains members’ information whilst they are members and for up to five
years after they cease to be members. The Friends retains the information of
non-members whilst they actively engage with the charity and for up to five years
afterwards, unless requested to delete the data.
